Understanding the Primary Crushing Process

The primary crushing process is the first step in transforming raw quarry rock into usable aggregate. At Royal Star Crusher LLC, this stage is handled by our Jaw Crusher 16159 Burcelic, manufactured in Turkey and purpose-built for the hard gabbro stones we extract.

The jaw crusher accepts rocks up to 2 tons in size and crushes them down to a maximum of 30 kg per piece. Currently operating at a capacity of 400 TPH, the crusher is engineered to scale beyond 700 TPH as our operations grow.

Following the jaw crusher, the material passes through our Hailston Double Deck Primary Screens sourced from India. These screens separate the crushed stone by size — sending undersized waste to disposal and directing selected materials to the main stockpile via conveyor belts.

A key feature of our primary section is the conveyor and tunnel system. A heavy-duty belt, more than 15 meters in height, feeds material into the cone crushers of the secondary section. The belt runs through a 20-meter concrete tunnel with a single large opening, ensuring a steady and controlled feed rate at all times.

Two additional screens are in place to further boost capacity and ensure that only properly sized material advances to the next stage. This multi-step quality check at the primary level is what sets our aggregate quality apart from the start.
